Connect Comeback to AI agents

This English setup guide covers Comeback's remote MCP connector. You need an existing Comeback account with access to an organization. Your organization's existing plan and account permissions apply.

Connect in Claude

  1. Open Settings → Connectors in Claude. Select Comeback from the directory when available. Before publication, use Add custom connector if your Claude plan supports it.
  2. For a custom connector, enter Comeback as the name and https://api.comeback.es/mcp as the remote server URL. Use OAuth with dynamic client registration; you do not need a client ID, client secret or feature scopes.
  3. Sign in on admin.comeback.es and review the Comeback account-linking screen. Approve access only for the agent you intended to connect.
  4. Start a conversation, enable Comeback and ask: Show my Comeback organizations and their locations. Select the organization you want to use.

Other remote MCP clients use the same server URL and OAuth flow. Never paste your Comeback password or an access token into a conversation.

What you can do

ActionExample request
Choose an organizationShow my Comeback organizations and their locations.
Find a customer and loyalty balancesShow one sample customer and their loyalty points.
Read aggregate reportsShow last month's order totals for my organization.
Inspect saved audiencesList my saved audience segments.
Save a new audienceSave an audience named Inactive 60 days for customers whose last visit was more than 60 days ago.

Prepare a campaignPrepare a WhatsApp campaign draft for my Inactive 60 days segment, inviting customers to visit again.

The connector exposes nine tools: list_organizations, search_customers, get_customer, list_segments, create_segment, get_report, list_campaigns, get_campaign_performance and create_campaign_draft.

Review a proposed audience or message before authorizing its creation. Audience and campaign creation return saved record IDs and Comeback admin links. Campaigns remain unsent drafts: review and send them yourself in the Comeback admin panel. The connector cannot send or schedule messages, delete customers, change billing or manage account settings.

Reports use inclusive UTC dates, cover up to 366 days and return monetary values in cents. Campaign performance is organization-wide and is unavailable to accounts limited to individual report locations.

Access and data

OAuth links the agent to your Comeback account without feature scopes. Every tool call checks your current organization membership, admin permissions, customer pass restrictions and report location restrictions. Connecting an agent does not grant permissions your Comeback account lacks.

The agent receives the data requested through the tools, which can include customer names, contact details, loyalty balances, reports, segment filters and campaign content. Saved audiences and drafts are stored in Comeback. Comeback receives tool arguments and records operational tool-call metadata; the connector does not request your conversation history, memory or unrelated files. Your agent provider handles the conversation and tool results under its own policies. Read Comeback's privacy policy and terms before connecting.

Troubleshooting and disconnecting

  • No organizations: check that your Comeback account belongs to an organization. Ask its administrator to add you or sign in with the intended account.
  • Permission or access denied: select an organization, customer, pass or location your account can access. Ask your Comeback administrator to review the relevant permissions.
  • Expired or revoked connection: reconnect through your agent's connector settings and complete Comeback sign-in and consent again. Account permissions are checked on the next tool call after an administrator changes them.
  • A campaign was not sent: open the returned admin editor link. Draft creation does not send or schedule it.
  • Disconnect: remove or disconnect Comeback from your agent's connector settings. If you need help revoking access, contact [email protected]. Access tokens expire after one hour; refresh tokens rotate and expire after 30 days.

For setup, connection or data-access questions, email [email protected] or use our contact page. Include the tool name and error message, without passwords, tokens or customer contact details.
